Terms and Conditions

Flower arrangements shown here are indicative only. We will always do our best to provide you with a product than resembles that shown in the picture. It may be possible that the actual arrangement varies due to un-availability of flowers and other reasons beyond our control.

Flowers are perishable items and consequently, if the receiver or any representative is not available at the time of delivery, we shall take the order as having been delivered. However we always try to take an appointment over phone before delivery.

Delivery of certain items may not be possible under certain uncontrollable circumstances. If delivery cannot be affected due to no fault of the customer, we will provide a 100% refund of your money.

No claim of whatsoever nature under any circumstances will be tenable other than the claim for 100% refund of payment made. All such claims if any, are to be raised within 24 hours of delivery/non delivery.

Central Flower Shop retain the right to refuse any order unconditionally. Notice of such refusal will be communicated to the customer. In case payment has already been effected, we will reverse the transaction.

Many products on our website may not contain prices. We therefore encourage all our customers to request a quote or pricing information before placing an order. Following this, and upon your acceptance of the price offered, you may proceed to effect payment through our payment page.

A confirmation email will be sent to you when the order form is submitted. However, please note that unless otherwise advised, an order will not be accepted and processed unless payment in full is received. When payment is effected, the order is considered as accepted and you will be notified accordingly and issued with a receipt.

 

Delivery Conditions

Central Flower Shop will deliver all orders with the maximum possible care to make sure that the order not only leaves our shop in good condition but reaches the recipient in same condition as well.

At Central Flower Shop we will try and deliver the order right into the hands of the recipient but in cases where our delivery staff can not reach the recipient due to some constraint like in offices, hospitals and public areas, the flowers will be handed over a designated person by the receiving party. It is your responsibility to ensure that delivery to the intended recipient is possible, or else to nominate another individual to receive the flowers on their behalf.

In case of the delivery is at residence address and the recipient is not at home or the premises are locked we will deliver the flowers to the neighbours only if they are ready to accept on their behalf.

We will not call the recipient at their phone number before the delivery to maintain the element of surprise. But in cases where we are unable to locate the address or some other problem where contacting the recipient is must, we will have to call the recipient and take directions.

You must provide us with the correct information required in the order form on the website and any extra information that you feel will help us reaching the right place. In case of incorrect information, we will not be responsible for the wrong delivery or for the delivery not being made at all.

 

Request for a Particular Time of Delivery

Due to the logistics involved in the delivery, we can not and will not take guarantee of a specific time for delivery. But if you would like to request a particular time of day, please mention it in the comments section in the order form and we will do our best to honor it.

On weekdays (Monday to Saturday) and excluding public holidays, deliveries are made during business hours – 9am to 1pm and from 4pm to 6.30 pm

Same day deliveries have to be ordered before 1pm of the same day. This might not always be possible on very busy days. During the peak trading days such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, we operate extended hours and delivery times may be extended due to heavy load of deliveries.

Delivery times are not guaranteed, regardless of any request.

 

Refund Policy

In circumstances other than those mentioned in the general terms and conditions, a refund will be given when claimed within 24hrs of the delivery or non-delivery.

If a customer is not satisfied with the products received or wants to return an item, we will provide a replacement according to your requirements but only if the original item or product is returned to us. A 100% money refund will be given if a replacement item or product is not required.

 

Substitution Policy

Central Flower Shop will try to deliver flower arrangements as shown on the website, but at times it is practically not possible to replicate the same due to the nature of the flowers and seasonal constraints.

Since flowers are not available in all seasons and to make sure that your order is not delayed due to non-availability of a particular flower, we will substitute that particular flower with the flower of same or higher value. For example, if you have ordered an arrangement of lilies and carnations and the lilies are not available at that particular time, we will substitute lilies with either Anthuriums or Roses or whichever other flower is available and is of the same or higher value. The design and the other aesthetics of the arrangements will remain the same.

If you don’t want any substitution in your order, please ask beforehand whether the flowers you requested are available or not in order to avoid disappointment.

 

Security

Central Flower Shop has taken every precaution in ensuring all your personal details including credit card details are kept secure at all times. Credit cards are processed by our payment service provider which is fully PCI DSS compliant. This means that your data is being secured using the latest encryption standards and security technology. Central Flower Shop does not process nor transmit your credit card details.
